What I Ate Wednesday #4 {St. Patrick’s Day}

St. Patrick’s Day – the day of GREEN!  This year, I attended a parade, caught some beads, and ate GREEN foods!

Here’s what I ate on St. Patrick’s Day:

Breakfast: GREEN Protein Pancake, Shakeology with GREEN garnish

I’ll admit – I added green food coloring to my pancake batter because I didn’t have spinach.  Not the healthiest option, but it was fun for the holiday theme.

Morning Snack: None

Swapped my morning snack for a 2 hour workout.  Only a few of us wore green!

Lunch: McAlister’s Cajun Shrimp Po Boy, Side Salad, Unsweet Tea

Very yummy with lots of GREEN lettuce.

Afternoon: Oooops

I had a Sonic M&M Blast on a whim. Of course I didn’t get a photo of it, but it really hit the spot.  Please note that the smallest size called a MINI is 510 calories.  The small is 900+ and I was scared to even look up the medium and large sizes.  GEES!   If you’re going to have dessert, make sure to get the smallest size.  It’s usually enough to satisfy the craving.

Dinner: A few chips, GREEN Leaf Lettuce Salad

Needless to say, I wasn’t very hungry for dinner. I ate a couple chips and a small salad of veggies that I was prepping for the week.  Good thing I got my nutrition in first thing in the morning.

These chips passed the ingredient test. I can pronounce all the ingredients!  They tasted like spicy Doritos but crispier.
