Do you have a “to don’t” list?

Maybe not –

Which motivates you more – avoiding pain or seeking pleasure?

In my mind, I’m a “seeking pleasure” person – sunny, happy, positive… However, in my behaviors I could go either way.

Either way is fine – it’s just important to know which YOU are so you can motivate yourself to take action.

Lately, I picked a couple things to go on my “to don’t” list. 

So far, I’ve NOT pushed snooze, NOT drank alcohol, and NOT told a story about why things aren’t the way I would prefer them.

It’s working for me so far! When a temptation pops into my brain, I just have to think “NOPE, we’re not doing that today” and I go about my day.

Alternatively, I could have taken the same outcomes (get out of bed on time, love my body, and forward growth) and made them positive.

To do:  Leap out of bed on time and attack the day!  Enjoy vibrant energy and complete self control. Speak the truth that you WANT in your life!

Wow – that sounds so lovely.  Like I could look at it and smile all day. Notice I said LOOK – it doesn’t make me act for some reason.

Even though it feels out of alignment, I choose to go with what works! No need to fuss over all the details – I’ll get the results!
